How it works

From a new sound to a clearer next step

WrenchEar organizes what a recording may support and what still needs an experienced inspection.

The first-listen process

  1. 01

    Record or upload

Record while parked safely, or upload an existing clip. Add the vehicle type and any details that help put the sound in context. Cars and motorcycles are supported.

  2. 02

    Review the sound evidence

The service creates an automated interpretation from the recording and supplied context. It separates audible observations from possible causes and explains what the clip cannot prove.

  3. 03

    Choose a safe next move

Use the guidance to decide whether to arrange a qualified inspection. If you need to share the case with a shop, the mechanic-ready report is available to a signed-in customer after its purchase is complete.

What a report link shares

The share URL is access for its holder

Creating a mechanic-ready report requires a signed-in account and a completed report purchase. It copies the recording into a shareable case. Anyone with the share URL can open the report and its recording copy; the current app routes do not check an expiry time for that token.
